LATIN 97FUNDMTLS OF READINGTBAFundamentals of Latin (with an emphasis on reading). Designed primarily for students interested in acquiring a solid reading knowledge of Latin, and to facilitate the understanding and translating of Latin texts dealing with a variety of disciplines. Not open to Classics majors or minors or Latin minors. Does not serve as a prerequisite for any higher level Latin courses or fulfull any undergraduate foreign language language requirements.
LATIN 104LATIN POETRY: THE AENEIDSOGNO, CWinter 2006: Latin Poetry / The Aeneid We will read book six of Vergil's Aeneid in Latin and the rest of the epic in English. Prerequisite: Latin 100B or equivalent or consent of the Department. May be repeated as topics vary.
