GREEK 103PLATO'S SYMPOSIUMKARANIKA, A.The aim of this course is to enhance our reading and understanding skills of ancient Greek prose while situating the texts in their historical, literary, cultural and social context. We will read closely selections from Plato's Symposium. Through this text we will do a review of Greek grammar, but also read and write brief scholarly work on Platonic dialogue and classical philosophy.
