JOHN'S GOSPELKARANIKA, A.The aim of this course is to enhance our reading and understanding skills of ancient Greek prose while situating the texts in their historical, literary, cultural, and social context. We will read closely the entire Gospel according to St. John. Through our readings, we will do a review of Greek grammar, but also read brief scholarly work on Biblical Greek.
