| GREEK 100 | TPKS IN ATTIC GREEK | HERNANDEZ, A. | Greek 100 is an upper division language course designed for students who have completed the first year of Greek language study. In this course, students will focus on translating both prose and poetry. During the first half of the quarter, students will analyze an oration by the Greek rhetor, Lysias, and in the second half, students will read selections from the tragedies of Euripides. Throughout the course of the quarter, students can expect regular translation assignments, (bi)weekly quizzes, a midterm, and a final. Lastly, students who have completed more than 2 years of Greek language study will be asked to complete a separate translation project. |
