GREEK 1CFUNDAMENTALS OF GREEKCLAXTON, C. In this final quarter beginning Classical Greek, we will complete the remaining chapters from Donald Mastronarde's textbook, Introduction to Attic Greek, and then will go on to read selected passages from various authors, including Aesop, Xenophon and Thucydides. Weekly quizzes, midterm and final examination. Prerequisite: Greek 1B or equivalent.
GREEK 103SALLUSTIUS' TREATISE ON THE GODSSUTTON, D.Reading (in Greek) and in-class discussion of Sallustius' "On the Gods and the World." Grade based on midterm and final exams, and on in-class performance.
