This talk will address some of the practical challenges as well as shared points of interest and potential collaboration between knowledge producers in the Humanities and Social Sciences. In an era of shifting resources and rapidly changing technologies, the need for publishers and scholars to find common cause has perhaps never been greater.

Richard Morrison will also be available by appointment to meet with individual faculty from 12-3. For information contact Julia Lupton, jrlupton@uci.edu.

Richard Morrison, Editorial Director of Fordham University Press, has worked in scholarly publishing for over 20 years, beginning as an editorial assistant at Duke University Press and most recently serving as Editorial Director and Humanities Editor at the University of Minnesota Press. Before that, he worked as a freelance writer and in various capacities for small press publishers.
