Career Workshop with UCI History Alumna Yidi Wu

Dr. Yidi Wu is currently an Assistant Professor of History at Saint Mary's College, Indiana. She teaches modern China, modern East Asia, pre-modern and modern world history (plus running a weekly Argentine tango workshop). Her research focuses on student activism in 20th-century China, and she is working on a book project about student dissent in 1957 based on her dissertation research. She has also recently become a book review editor for an online journal PRC History Review. Originally from Beijing, She received her BA from Oberlin College, and got her PhD from UCI in 2017.
