A cutting-edge experimental performance linking interactive digital media with music, dance and theatre, Living in the Tempest uses fragments from William Shakespeare's mystical masterwork The Tempest, along with other sources, as inspiration to reflect on relationships between humans and oceans. Taking notice of the developing planetary crisis driven by the rapidly evolving human capacity to alter ocean systems, this visionary intermedia production responds to challenges and complexities of the coastal interface using Shakespeare’s mysterious island as a jumping-off point.
