The “Centering Stories:  Asian American and Pacific Islander Undocumented Student Experiences” Symposium focuses attention on Asian American and Pacific Islander undocumented immigrants (the fastest growing undocumented population in the U.S.) and the experiences of AAPI undocumented college students (29% of the 650 undocumented students at UCI).  Our symposium will feature creative work, innovative research, community organizers, student experiences, and best university practices.  All are welcome to attend.  RSVPs required by April 12: (https://centeringstories.eventbrite.com).  
 April 20, 5-7 p.m.:  Screening of Cambodian Son (2014) and light dinner reception, The new location for the film screening/discussion of Cambodian Son and light dinner on Thursday, April 20, 5-7 p.m. is HIB (Humanities Instructional Building) 135 (Building 610 on the campus map).
