Book Launch: Orange County: A Literary Field Guide

Join us for a celebratory book launch on Friday, March 10.

Orange County: A Literary Field Guide, published by Heyday Books, features writing by over sixty authors, including many associated with UC Irvine’s Programs in Writing. With anthology editors Andrew Tonkovich and Lisa Alvarez as masters of ceremony, this celebratory book launch will feature a welcome by UCI Dean of Humanities Georges Van Den Abbeele and remarks from Heyday Publisher Steve Wasserman and Executive Editor Narda Zacchino.

Reading from their excerpts: Memoirist and OC Weekly editor Gustavo Arellano, novelist Greg Bills, poet Lorene Delany-Ullman, poet Grant Hier, poet Michael Ryan, poet Patty Seyburn, poet and scholar Mitsuye Yamada, and journalist Jim Washburn.

Event is free and open to the public.
Lgiht refreshments will be served. 

Parking is available in Mesa Parking Structure for $2/hour.
