Poetry and Fiction Reading by Stuart Dybek

The Start of Something: The Selected Stories of Stuart Dybek was published in Fall, 2016 by Jonathan Cape/Vintage.  Dybek is the author of six books of fiction and two collections of poetry.  His work has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's, The Atlantic, Poetry, Tin House, both Best American Fiction and Best American Poetry and in many other magazines and anthologies.  Awards include a PEN/Malamud Prize, a Whiting Writer's Award, several O.Henry Prizes, fellowships from the Lannan Foundation and the Guggenheim Foundation, and a fellowship from the MacArthur Foundation.  He is Northwestern University Distinguished Writer  in Residence, and this quarter is the  Stein Visiting Writer at Stanford.
