"Sayat Nova in Parajanov's Image" a lecture by Xi Yang
The Vahe & Armine Meghrouni Lecture Series in Armernian Studies presents a lecture by Xi Yang: Sayat Nova in Parajanov's Image. 
Xi Yang recently received his doctorate from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, UCLA, in Armenian Studies. His dissertation focuses on Sayat Nova's literary accomplishments, the minstrel tradition in the area, and the film "The Color of Pomegranate." His interest also falls on the communication between China and other Asian countries.
