Last Scene Underground: An Ethnographic Novel of Iran
Book talk and signing with Roxanne Varzi.
Roxanne Varzi is associate professor of anthropology and film and media studies at UCI. She is a scholar, writer, filmmaker, and sound artist. Varzi was born in Tehran and left with her family shortly after the Revolution. In 2000, she was awarded the first Fulbright fellowship since the Islamic Revolution for research in Iran.
