Dr. Frank Meyskens, UCI professor of medicine, will read and discuss his poetry, which encompasses three major areas:

1. The struggle of physicians and other caregivers with the tremendous emotional toll that dealing with illness, especially at the end-of-life, may cause.
2. How family and friends impact health, healing, and well-being in patients.
3. Reflections on the state of the world, both humorous and profound.
