Grace Rowe: Playing the Double Whammy of Being Asian and Female in Hollywood

Grace Rowe is an actress, writer and independent filmmaker living in Los Angeles. She wrote, produced, starred in, and edited the feature film, "I Am That Girl," which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, and which she also received the Best Actress Award from the Yosemite International Film Festival. Grace has appeared in many different television shows as an actress including, "Modern Family," "Blackish," "Grey's Anatomy," and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." She's currently directing and starring in the short film, "The Sweetening," which she wrote based on her feature film script, "Virtually." In addition to her t.v. and film work, Grace was recently chosen as a finalist for the New Visions Award for her Young Adult novel, "Pure Descent," about the future of race in America.
