Rashin Kheiriyeh is an internationally recognized, award-winning illustrator, author, animator, and painter who has
illustrated 51 child ren’s books. She has received 50 national and international awards for books and animations, including recently being selected for the Honor List of IBBY 2014. She has received the New Horizon Award from the Bologna Book Fair, Italy; the Golden Apple Award at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (BIB), Slovakia; and the Comic Contest ‘best character designer’ award. She has a P.H.D in illustration from The Art & Culture Ministry of Iran and a M.F.A from Alzahra University in Iran, as well as Training Certificate from The School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City.
