Please join us to hear UCI professor of writing and rhetoric Peggy Hesketh discuss her book, Telling the Bees.

A novel exploring the mysterious deaths of two sisters, told from the point of view of an elderly beekeeper, Telling the Bees is less about ‘who done it’ than why.

Peggy Hesketh's writing has appeared in Calliope and the Antietam Review , and her short story "A Madness of Two" was selected by Elizabeth George for inclusion in her anthology Two of the Deadliest . A long-time journalist (Los Angeles Times , Orange County Register ), Peggy teaches writing and rhetoric at the University of California, Irvine. Telling the Bees was included in The Washington’s Post ’s Notable Books of 2013. Visit her online at
