Ngugi wa Thiong'o, "Metaphysical Empires: Language as a War Zone"

The Department of Comparative Literature launches its lecture series with novelist and theorist Ngugi wa Thiong'o, UCI Distinguished Professor of Comparative Literature and English. The lecture precedes the following week's staging of his play, "The Trial of Dedan Kimathi," written in collaboration with Micere Githae-Mugo, by UCI Drama.
