Queer in America: A Reading of Manifestos

Tony Kushner's award-winning play, 'Angels in America', links sexuality, politics, and radicalism in an interrogation of what it means to be an American Citizen. The UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts is staging this term a production of Angels in America Part One: Millennium Approaches (Jan 25, 26 & 30 - Feb 2). To celebrate this amazing and provocative play. the Center for Excellence in Writing & Communications and the Department of Women's Studies will host a reading of Queer Manifestos.
