The anthology gathers together the work of 27 Iranian American writers and includes stories set in Iran before and after the revolution, as well as stories set in the United States that depict the lives and experiences of Iranian immigrants.

Anita Amirrezvani (left) is the author of the novels The Blood of Flowers and Equal of the Sun. Persis Karim (right) is a poet and editor of Let Me Tell You Where I've Been: New Writing by Women of the Iranian.
