"Celluloid to DVD" with Jeffrey Baker, EVP, Warner Bros. Home Video

Jeffrey Baker, Executive Vice President, Warner Brothers Home Video, will discuss "Celluloid to DVD." How do we view ourselves as a society? Our history, our cultural life, our stories? We view them through the lens of a camera, at the movies! From celluloid (film) to DVD (blu-ray) no company has reflected the past 90 years of our lives more than iconic Warner Brothers. It's their 90th birthday this year, and we share a history. We'll be screening a brand new documentary about the Warner's studio, the people who ran it, the body of work produced by it, and the era it reflected. It will give us a glimpse into today's TV and film production and the company's future goals. We will also be a "first" viewing audience for a new hour-long DVD: Clint Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story.
This event is in conjunction with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and is free and open to the public.
