A one-day conference in cooperation with UCI Nursing Science and Hebrew Union College, Kalsman Institute in Judaism and Health.

Judaism and Health is a one-day symposium that addresses Jewish approaches to bioethics and well-being. This event should be of broad interest to students, faculty and staff in the health sciences, philosophy, and religious studies as well as members of the general public.

Keynote lecture by Rabbi Dr. William Cutter, the founding director of the Kalsman Institute on Judaism and Health at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute for Religion in Los Angeles. Panel presentations by Professor Ellen Olshansky (UCI), Professor Tammi Schneider (Claremont School of Religion), and Rabbi Susan Leider.
