Graduate Student Workshop: Branding & Managing Your Online Identity

 Graduate Office     Feb 28 2013 | 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM HIB 135

This workshop will discuss how graduate students can create, "brand" and promote an online professional identity. As academia and the job market become increasingly engaged with new media, the nature of your digital footprint shapes your identity as an academic professional. In this workshop, we will introduce how to use web-based programs to manage your online profile and several (easy!) platforms for building your own professional/personal website. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops.

Workshop facilitated by April Trask, Ph.D. candidate in History.

This workshop is designed for graduate students in the School of Humanities.

A light dinner will be provided. RSVPs appreciated.
