A message from Chancellor Drake: Be sure to vote today!

 Art History     Nov 6 2012 | 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM USA

Dear Colleagues:

The election is upon us. Today, Tuesday, November 6, is the only day for voting at
a polling place and the last day that mail ballots will be accepted.

This election involves much more than choosing our national and local leaders.
There are issues on the ballot that affect every one of us here at UC Irvine.
Proposition 30 and all the propositions and candidates on the ballot deserve your
careful consideration.

It is important that you cast your vote. All mail ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m.
on November 6. If you didn't your mail ballot yet, you can drop it off at your polling
place or the county election office today before 8pm. If you are voting in person on
Tuesday, make sure you have made time in your schedule to stop by your polling
place. Polling places will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m today only.

Every vote counts! Join me in voting on November 6.

Chancellor Michael Drake
