"Barricades in Paris, 1944 and 1968"

The UCI Department of History presents: "Barricades in Paris, 1944 and 1968" by Professor André Burguière of Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris.

The talk will be held next Wednesday, March 21st at 3:30pm in Krieger Hall 126.

Professor Burguière will recount his personal memories and then analyze and compare the Parisian uprisings at the time of the liberation of Paris in August 1944 and during the student revolts of May 1968. For additional information, please contact the UCI Department of History at (949) 824-6521.
