What’s on your mind at the final moments? Who will be with you? As COVID-19 is still ravaging the world, taking many lives too fast and too early, these are some of the unanswerable gnawing questions that keep stressing us. How do you know this moment is final? Can you prepare for it? COVID-19 has changed our understanding of the final moments. A pandemic is more than illness and death of individuals; it is also about humanity of the world. FINAL MOMENTS is a research and performance project about the pandemic with an intercultural and interdisciplinary approach. FINAL MOMENTS is about exploring the meanings of the very term, about redefining humanity from various perspectives such as medicine, education, race, gender, social economic status, art, and ecology. FINAL MOMENTS is about telling a story with poetry, sound, light, touch, music, movements, and drama. FINAL MOMENTS is about living, healing, and finding light in the darkest times.
